In the January 2022 survey of ‘Turkey’s Pulse’ conducted by MetroPOLL research company, the participants were asked, “Should Turkey give priority to the EU (European Union) and the USA, or Russia and China in its foreign relations?” While 39.4 percent said “Turkey should give priority to Russia and China in its foreign relations”, the proportion of respondents who said “It should give priority to the EU and the USA” remained at 37.5 percent. According to the survey, “I have no idea/ The rate of those who answered as “No answer” was 23.1.
